This form was created during a time I was in desperate need of a visual to support my understanding of play therapy, play therapy approaches, and the therapeutic powers of play. The approaches in pink represent seminal and historically significant theories according to the Association for Play Therapy.
This form can also be used with parents to help them gain an understanding of how there are several approaches to play therapy and how they all support the therapeutic powers of play.
